Ian Lee
Managing Director, Founder
Combining his experience as a mechanical engineer with his passion as an entrepreneur, Ian Lee has led the growth and success of several companies in energy and research & development. In 2011, he founded Electrius Sdn Bhd, a company focusing on research & development, product development and prototyping as well as manufacturing using composites technology. Electrius Sdn Bhd, which is still in operation today, achieved Pioneer Status in 2015 under Lee’s leadership.
In 2019, he assumed the position of Business Advisor for Cellsaver and was later promoted to Managing Director in 2022 whereby he not only overlooks the business development of the company into several industries but also spearheads the company’s ESG initiatives and developing Greenhouse Gas Emissions reporting to be aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and BURSA’s sustainability reporting standards. Ian envisions Cellsaver to be a strategic partner to Malaysia’s goal of reducing its GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions intensity across the economy by 45% per GDP by 2030 and Net Zero Emissions by 2050.
Lee is also the Business Strategy Advisor of Trinitium Sdn Bhd where he strategises the company’s business growth for operations diversification. He is also a GRI Community Member and a Certified Professional in Sustainability Operation.
Amlis Mansyur
Principal Engineer & Regeneration Specialist, Founder
Our Principal Engineer & Regeneration Specialist, Amlis Mansyur started his career as an Electrical Engineer in Intel Technology. He spent 13 years as a Semiconductor Engineer Specialist including as a wafer fabrication Quality and Reliability Engineer in Infineon Technologies. Amlis assumed many other positions with several companies such as Subsea Explore Services, Bermuda Subsea and Jelapang Rezki Sdn Bhd, adding to his knowledge and experiences in technical and operations.
He joined Cellsaver in 2019 as our Operation Manager as well as founder. At Cellsaver, Amlis is our Battery Regeneration Technologist as well as technical and operation specialist.
Amlis’s main focus industry is in Stationary & Motive power battery applications such as telecommunications, utility, data centre, industrial cleaning, material handling and many others utilising lead acid and nickel cadmium technologies. He has a wealth of experience in regeneration projects with multiple battery brands such as Enersys, Fiamm, Leoch, Narada, Shoto, Trojan, Vision, Wolong, Cellnike, Gaz, Hoppecke, Nica, Saft, and many more.
Amlis has a Master in Business Administration and is a Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner as well as a GRI Community Member. He is also an expert in Lead Acid Battery regeneration operation and system requirements.
Aidil Ardi
Industrial UPS & Battery Specialist
With his vast experience in site service works, installation and battery maintenance, Aidil Ardi comes with a wealth of knowledge to provide Cellsaver’s clients with the assurance of expertise and quality. He began his career as a technician and trainee engineer in Jumbohan Marketing and moved up the ranks in engineering, sales, managing and support in other companies such as AEG Power Solutions Sdn Bhd, BORRI Asia Pacific Engineering Sdn Bhd, Swichtec Power Systems Sdn Bhd, and STATRON Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd.
With his years in the industry, Aideil has the expertise to provide total power solutions of AC/DC UPS & batteries including explosion-proof equipment for both industrial and non-industrial market areas covering a wide scope from consultation to engineering services to training.
He joins Cellsaver as our Industrial UPS & Battery Specialist where his main focus is in oil & gas, power plants, and industrial plants backup power. Aidil has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a CIDB Green Card (IRW0-Engineer). He has a certification of training in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of ALCAD Stationary Ni-Cd Batteries from ALCAD Sweden, and has a valid Oil & Gas Safety Passport as well as Niosh Tenaga Safety Passport. Aidil is also a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia and is registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Richard Choi
Associate & Regeneration Specialist
Battery Expert Richard Choi is originally from Seoul, Korea, where he spent most of his career building his experience and knowledge in the industry. He began his career in Accenture Korea and from there, became a founding member of Bridge Solution Group Co., Ltd and is the President Director of PT. Indonesia Bridge Solution Group Co. Ltd.
In 2022, he was appointed CEO of VoltaON Co., Ltd. At Cellsaver, he is the Principal Regional Director in South East Asia and Associate where he is instrumental in nurturing Malaysia’s business growth by providing technical and advisory support in the aspects of battery regeneration and new technology that originates from South Korea.
Choi has both a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University.
